Janri & Jacques: Elgin Valley

Janri and Jacques tied the knot at their family farm in the enchanting Elgin Valley. Set among apple orchards and the serene banks of a river, the day was filled with laughter, love, and a few unexpected surprises. Although it was the last weekend in November, we encountered one of the biggest storms on record! Gusty winds, heavy rain, and bone-chilling cold swept through, reminding us that love shines brightest in the face of adversity.

Guests were soon warmed up with a traditional South African braai, a harvest table, a gin bar, and a bit of fun on the golf swings. To reach the reception area, guests took a scenic boat ride down the river, where they arrived at a magical setup beneath a stretch tent. Lit by strings of naked bulbs, rustic wooden tables, a custom bar, and a wooden dance floor awaited them.

During their couple shoot, the newlyweds laughed and played in the rain, capturing moments that perfectly reflected their lively spirits. Janri and Jacques truly made this weekend one to remember, proving that love, laughter, and resilience make the most unforgettable memories.
